This piece takes inspiration from a line from the song "Ivy" by Frank Ocean.

The line "All the things I didn't mean to say, I didn't mean to do, there were things you didn't need to say. Did you mean to? Mean to?" captures the intense emotions of anger and self-loss, stemming from the struggle of accepting wrongs and the inability to forgive a partner.

Inspired by this, I plan to create an abstract painting that conveys these emotions of anger and confusion. Using various painting techniques, such as value and contrast, along with mediums like pencil crayons and possibly oil pastels, I aim to express the turmoil and self-doubt that often follow intense relationships.
